In essence the rx_cosflap command as it is used to help eliminate "squelch flapping" could also be called a "cos delay" and used like you do in your case to eliminate the Fusion repeater problem of cutting off a small portion of the tail audio. I will have to make sure that gets mentioned in the docs. <br id="FontBreak"></font><br><b><font style="font-size:16pt;" size="4">73 Doug</font><font style="font-size:16pt;" size="4"><br></font><font style="font-size:16pt;" size="4">WA3DSP</font><font style="font-size:16pt;" size="4"><br></font><font style="font-size:16pt;" size="4">http://www.crompton.com/hamradio</font></b><font style="font-size:16pt;" size="4"><br></font><br><br><div><hr id="stopSpelling">From: k8it@cac.net<br>To: arm-allstar@hamvoip.org<br>CC: doug@crompton.com<br>Subject: Re: [arm-allstar] Updates - RPi3 Now supported<br>Date: Sun, 3 Apr 2016 19:11:15 -0400<br><br>

<div>Just a quick note to thank everybody who had a part in the latest release
of the RPI2-3 release. It seems to work good including the new Alpha code
commands. The new rx_cosflap comand even solves my no mod Allstar DR-1X
interface issue</div>

<div><b>Subject:</b> [arm-allstar] Updates - RPi3 Now
supported</div></div></div>
<div><br></div>
<div dir="ltr"><font face="Tahoma,sans-serif" color="#000000">We are releasing
<b>THREE </b>new BBB and RPi2 versions which include minor fixes and the new
simpleusb channel driver which eliminates the audio delay (echo) often found on
repeaters. Versions <b>BBB V1.2.2</b> and <b>RPi2 V1.01 </b>represent the last
in the version 1 series releases. These are stable releases and will remain on
this site and be available for download into the future. Many users have
reported success using the RPi2 in two radio node systems and we have had many
compliments on the ease of setup of our code. <br><br>If you are currently using
the BBB V1.2.1 or RPi2 V1.0 releases and not using your node with a repeater and
experiencing the echo problem there is <b>NO</b> need to upgrade to these new
versions. The <b>RPi2-3_V1.02beta</b> release is using the latest 4.1.19-5
kernel. This is a quick release for those wanting to try their new RPi3 boards.
All platforms BBB, RPi2, RPi3 will be supported in our forthcoming V2.0 release.
The updates in these releases are:<br><br><b>BBB V1.2.2</b> - simpleusb Channel
Driver update to eliminate echo on repeaters, added pre-emphasis and audio delay
squelch tail elimination, fixed phone and web transceiver codec
problem<br><br><b>RPi2 V1.01</b> - simpleusb Channel Driver update to eliminate
echo on repeaters<br><br><b>RPi2-3 V1.02beta</b> - simpleusb Channel Driver
update to eliminate echo on repeaters, Kernel update to support RPi3<br><br>If
you do want to update your existing code backup your current configuration using
the built-in backup tools. You can copy your setup to a USB stick or a file and
download to another computer using winscp. Then when you bring up the new code
say NO to the node setup second part of the procedure and reload your backup
files, restart the system and you should be good to go. Also if you copy the new
image to a new SD card and save the old one you can always go back to it. See
the backup howto at hamvoip.org for more info on making backups. <br><br>The
exciting news is that our version 2 code is about to be released and I don't
think you will be disappointed. It will have many new features and support the
BBB and Both RPi2/3 platforms. We are about to go into beta testing and should
have code out sometime in April. <br id="ecxFontBreak"></font><br>All version images
can now be downloaded at the hamvoip.org web page.<br><br>Since the RPi2-3 image
is considered beta and although we don't expect any problems please report any
issues you may have. We would also like to hear any positive comments regarding
use with the RPi3.<br><br><b><font style="FONT-SIZE:16pt;" size="4">73
