I’m a newbie to Allstar, but very familiar with Asterisk and Raspberry Pi. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>I’m having trouble setting up my Allstar node. I’m using a Raspberry Pi 2 and a URI interface connected to a Yaesu FT-8800. I downloaded the image from <a href="http://hamvoip.org/RPi2/RPi2_V1.0_Allstar.zip">http://hamvoip.org/RPi2/RPi2_V1.0_Allstar.zip</a>. The first time I booted up the Pi I was surprised to hear voice from the Pi sent out over RF, so I’m confident I at least had the thing working outbound.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Today I went back through the first time setup and plugged in my Allstar Node Number (43253), and outbound no longer seems to work. I did my best to enter the other values, but may have made an incorrect selection along the way. I reloaded image to the card and started over from scratch, but cannot get beyond this. Before I set up the node number I was able to run /usr/local/sbin/sayip.sh, and it sent the IP via RF. Now, I get nothing. I see nothing in the Asterisk console when I do that (starting it with asterisk –rvvvvvvv). And the URI doesn’t appear to do anything. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>But, when I key up the HT and send DTMF tones that are all decoded by asterisk. I was also able to confirm that I can link to another Allstar node by keying the link command and checking the node stats using the GUI. I also saw the connect info in the Asterisk console. But, I don’t think I’m getting audio. Nothing ever makes the URI key the radio like it did after the first install.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>I’m probably missing key details here, but wondered if anyone could help me make progress or find the right resource.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Not sure what other information would be useful, but here is what I think is the USB setup.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>[root@alarmpi asterisk]# more simpleusb.conf<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>; simple usb configration added by simpleusb-config.sh<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>; 2016.03.12.1137<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>[general]<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>[usb]<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>; Generic Default Settings<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>eeprom=0<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>hdwtype=0<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>rxboost=0<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>carrierfrom=usb<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>ctcssfrom=no<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>txmixa=voice<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>txmixb=no<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>invertptt=0<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>duplex=1<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>plfilter=yes<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>deemphasis=no<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>preemphasis=no<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>rxaudiodelay=0<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Any info appreciated.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Thanks,<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Dan<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>W4DTO<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p></div></body></html>
