It is really just opening and writing text to a USB serial port and is described at the Adafruit site where this was purchased. There are other display choices but this is simple and avoids any OS or hardware dependencies. It could be ported to any system.<br><br>You can use this to display anything you can say in 2 lines of 16 characters and you can use virtually any script or language to call it.
