<p dir="ltr">I have a rx that is always active.   I start the node with a startup Maceo that kills the tot.. then I have a huge number in the tot setting in rpt.conf</p>

No, you can't just comment out the totime=xxxxxx statement--it has a<br>
default value of 180000 (180 seconds), when no setting is defined. Also,<br>
you can't set totime=0.<br>

So, the best solution I've found is to set totime to some large number,<br>
like totime=99999999 ....That sets the timeout to 27+ hours!<br>

BTW, to temporarily disable the timeout timer, use "cop,8" ...And, to<br>
re-enable, try "cop,7"<br>
