      It doesn't quite work that way.  The CT values are only read from
      rpt.conf when app_rpt.c is loaded.<br>
      While these values are stored in ram somewhere, you can not simply
      access them from from the shell.<br>

      What you can do is access shell environment variables from the C
      programming language, but the program has to be written
      specifically to do that.. There is a C function called <b>getenv()</b>
      that will allow a program to access the environment variables. 
      App_rpt.c would have to be modified to go out and read these
      environment variables.<br>

      The shell script could then change the value of the environment
      variables.<br>

        way, I would think a bash script could access the pointer to the

            On what event do you want to change it? Why do you want to
          do it? Do you just want to change it with a DTMF sequence?<br>

          I don't know of any simple way. Perhaps others do? If so I
          would add it to the how-to.<br>

          The only way I know of is changing the file and reloading
          which as you said is not very elegant.<br>
