Then modify it afterwards and reload it. It could be done in a script but that would be up to the user. I don't want to get into modifying user files.<br><br>An good option that would work is to setup a pseudo node and run it from there with holdofftelem=0. Actually you could have all telemetry set to off. Connect that node to whatever other nodes on the server you want to play it on. I have it running on a hub here that has no radios and most telem turned off so the setting holdofftelem=0 has no consequences. It is never a bad idea to run things like this on a pseudo node though. It doesn't even have to be a registered node. Use some node number less than 2000. No need to waste a registered node.<br id="FontBreak"></font><br><b><font style="font-size:16pt;" size="4">73 Doug</font><font style="font-size:16pt;" size="4"><br></font><font style="font-size:16pt;" size="4">WA3DSP</font><font style="font-size:16pt;" size="4"><br></font><font style="font-size:16pt;" size="4">http://www.crompton.com/hamradio</font></b><font style="font-size:16pt;" size="4"><br></font><br><br><div><hr id="stopSpelling">Date: Mon, 31 Aug 2015 22:42:13 -0500<br>From: w0kgw3@gmail.com<br>To: arm-allstar@hamvoip.org<br>Subject: Re: [arm-allstar] playnews-0.6<br><br><div dir="ltr">Doug,<div><br></div><div>Is there a way to add a command into the script to execute the holdofftelem=0 setting for the duration of the news playback, then set it back to what it was before?</div><div><br></div><div>Cheers,</div><div>Joel</div><div>W0KGW</div><div><br></div><div class="ecxgmail_extra"><br></div></div>
