He found the answer and it might have others that have strange issues like he described.<br><br>Somehow his duplex setting in rpt.conf had been reset to 2. He is running a simplex node and one radio. Having it set to 2 will cause all kinds of strange things to happen. You transmit to the node radio, it sees COS, asserts PTT which then puts the node radio into transmit. Since it is no longer receiving it then drops COS and Allstar drops PTT and so on over and over.<br><br>For simplex operation duplex= in rpt.conf has to be either 0 or 1. Setting it to 0 turns off all telemetry and is only used if you want that to happen. The default setting for this in both the BBB and RPi2 images and the setup default is 1. <br id="FontBreak"></font><br><font style="" face="Tahoma,sans-serif">He has no idea how that value got changed since the only way to change it is to run the setup program againt or directly edit the rpt.conf file.</font><br><br><font style="" face="Tahoma,sans-serif">When I brought my first Acid Allstar release up years ago I failed to change that and I had the same problem and it took me awhile to figure it out.
