When I remove the dumping of the errors when running sox I see header errors in the 5th and 6th part. Why this is happening on the BBB and not the RPi2 I do not know. The SW versions of Sox and Lame are the same. There may be a bug in the sox version in the BBB. If I get time I will research this further but it will not be a big priority.
