Hi Everyone,

I hear varying comments from hams about not being able to solder the COS
and PTT signal wires to the CM108 chips in the low-cost fobs.

Personally, I find the soldering easy to do, it's mostly about technique
used and having a good quality soldering station--but, I've also done
-lots- of surface mount assembly work in a previous life.

It's worth noting that once you've built a perhaps three fobs from $3
adapters, you've saved enough money over purchasing pre-built URI's, etc.,
to buy a quality temperature-controlled soldering station (I use a Weller
WESD51).

So, I'll ask the question: is there a market for pre-soldered fobs? I'm
not talking a completed interface, just the COS and PTT wires attached,
like seen in this photo:
BTW, I'm NOT trying to get into business! But, just wondering....
