--></style></head><body bgcolor="#FFFFFF" text="#000000">I would like to point out that the specifications for both are available and in the case of D-STAR there are functional options that can be used with any radio to create both a repeater and an end user radio, plus there are other radios in development that will support it. I will also point out that some folks take the "experimentation" part of ham radio seriously and that we accept that not everyone will want to use our systems because of that.<br>

if not all BBB and RPi2 user are the considerations are levels

Allstar audio but there is nothing you can do with poor

not a political question. I have heard dstar repeaters with
good and bad audio as well. the allstar codec seems to be
one of the best however there are some nodes with there
levels way off and sound awful. anyway I was asking from a
tech side not a political side. I did not realize this was a

can be bridged to anything else in numerous ways but I was
wondering why you would want to mess up our wonderful
Allstar audio with crappy Dstar audio? Personally I don't
want to hear any of the current amateur digital audio on
Allstar. A circuit is only as good as its worst audio!
That being said you can do anything you want but if I hear
that kind of audio on any circuit I maintain I would
disconnect it unless it is an emergency.<br id="ecxFontBreak" />
