It will be awhile before this becomes a reality and most likely it will be a parallel effort, maintaining the current code and experimenting with new until we have a proven system. The current V1.0 works well for what it was intended to do. I would say the vast majority use it for simplex nodes where this delay is not a problem and even on repeaters it can certainly be tolerated and does not interfere with communications.<br></font><br><font style="" face="Tahoma,sans-serif">I also would caution to not mess with the code unless you know what you are doing. It is fine to experiment but if we have to spend lots of time fixing problems created by users it becomes a burden. Before you start changing things please lets us know about an issue so we can check it out. The audio delay is an issue we are well aware of and working hard to fix the right way.
