As for tx audio...<br>
The mic input will play. It uses a dynamic mic, so you don't have to worry about blocking  MIC DC. I remember there being a white jack on the front panel board (assuming this is a front mount, not trunk mount) where the jumper from the mic jack connects. That would make a nice connect point.<br>

I'd rather see it injected downstream of the mic. But sometimes we need to do whatever works.<br>

Before you set the tx level, set the radio to  hard limit at 5 KC deviation with the mic.<br>
