The reason is the update time of the node database. Your node has to propagate the network. This is worse on the first boot if you have been off for a prior period. <br><br>If you have waited at least that long and still no go then you may not have good Internet connectivity for some reason. You can test it by ssh'ing into your node, logging in, and at the Linux prompt type - <b>ping allstarlink.org</b><br>You should get a response something like this....<br><br> [root@wa3dsp-40961-cm asterisk]# <b>ping allstarlink.org</b><br>PING allstarlink.org (67.215.233.179) 56(84) bytes of data.<br>64 bytes from allstarlink.org (67.215.233.179): icmp_seq=1 ttl=51 time=80.9 ms<br>64 bytes from allstarlink.org (67.215.233.179): icmp_seq=2 ttl=51 time=82.5 ms<br>64 bytes from allstarlink.org (67.215.233.179): icmp_seq=3 ttl=51 time=80.0 ms<br><br>Type cntrl C to exit.<br><br>If you are getting that then maybe you are not registering.... from the Linux prompt type -<br><br><b>asterisk -rvvv</b><br><br>You will then be in the Asterisk client indicated by the CLI prompt. Type iax2 show registry. Towards the beginning there is a registration line that has your node number and node ID. Make sure they are correct. Recheck your node password at allstarlink.org - thats the 6 digit number. the PW in iax.conf should match.
