It should ask you. Then you have the option of changing the password, system name, and IP parameters you also specify you want to configure your node. Once that is done it reboots and yes it will close the putty session. You need to log back in at the new IP address if you changed it with username- root and the new password you set before it rebooted. <br id="FontBreak"></font><br><font style="" face="Tahoma,sans-serif">I have no idea when you got the permission denied. On the BBB you are always root and have full permissions.
