I was having the exact same problem with my rev. B boards and ver. 1.2 of Doug's release. I ended up fixing the problem by powering the board via the barrel connector instead of the USB port. I never had the issue under ver. 1.1. I have 2 rev. B BBBs, and the same issue on both boards.

I got everything up and running with ver 1.2 a few nights ago. I had an Echolink connect running fine. The next morning the USB audio FOB was dark, no heartbeat LED. I unplugged the FOB, and reinserted it. No lights. I could login to the BBB with putty, so I restarted Asterisk. Still no lights. Finally I did a shutdown -r now. The BBB came back up with the FOB green led flashing after a min or so. I checked back in an hour or two, the fob was dead again. Same story, I had to shutdown and restart the opsys. This went on for a couple of days. Finally, I transferred the SD card to my backup board a BBB rev C. No problems, the boards been running for 2 or 3 days. I thought that the old BBB rev B took a crap. For grins, I reloaded the previous ver 1.1 on an SD card and brought up the rev B BBB board. It's been running for over 24hr with not a hang. It appears that the new rev
1.2 has a problem with the old rev B BBB board. At least, it does with mine. Has anyone else had this problem?
