Greetings, BeagleGeniuses.
In an earlier thread, Doug helped me install minicom on my BBB. Now, I'm able to reliably access my serial console on other devices with a PL203 USB-serial adapter.

I'd like to use the BBB's onboard serial header instead of the USB adapter. Problem is, I'm to simple to figure out how to properly disable the BBB's default setting that dedicates the onboard serial header for a boot/system debugging serial console for the BBB.

In earlier discussion, Doug referenced the below article as a start to learning how to use the onboard console, but again, I was too simple to understand how to disable the boot console/system console defaults so the port can be released to minicom.

http://nullr0ute.com/2013/10/serial-console-options-on-the-beagle-bone-black/

I'm sure the answer will be another one-liner, but could probably be helpful for other simple people.

Thanks for reading and 73

KJ6QFS
Sam Skolfield
