Have you tried logging the incoming VoIP audio using the "archivedir"<br>
statement in the node stanza? Then, listen to the resulting .wav files for<br>
choppyness/distortion on in-bound VoIP audio? (It's worth testing...)<br>

Also, in your current config (using simpleusb), I'm assuming the PL tone<br>
is generated by the repeater internal controller?<br>
