On the BBB it is in /etc/asterisk/local so privatenodes.txt has to be in that directory. I have never used it although I think I tested it once. I will check but make sure it is in the right place and readable.

The other thing to note is that it only gets added when astdb.php is run which is once a day from cron. If you add data to privatenodes.txt you will need to run astdb.php to update the database and see it immediately otherwise it will not update until the once a day cron update.

73 Doug
WA3DSP
http://www.crompton.com/hamradio

From: w6reb@hammradio.us
To: arm-allstar@hamvoip.org
Date: Sun, 27 Jul 2014 17:37:15 -0700
Subject: [arm-allstar] BBB and Private Node

Wondering why lsnodes privatenodes.txt doesn’t report correctly even though it
setup as I had it before the BBB and it worked just fine? In fact it does report
but Not as the correct number. It shows node 40810 Puerto Rico which it is Not.
I must have missed something....
