I agree. Configuring your files locally is a better way to go and a
good learning experience. Also, I learned the hard way. Never
download configuration from allstarlink.org. I didn't realize that
it would change your configuration files and all of your hard work
is lost :-)<br>
<br>
I have 2 Beagle Bone Blacks, 2 servers and 2 nodes working here at
NY3J. Everything is working great and the BBB is definitely ready
for prime time. Thanks for all the hard work. I'm having a blast
with this stuff.<br>

<div dir="ltr"><font style="" face="Tahoma">Before I do a general
release I am contemplating removing nodesetup.sh Does anyone
use that script? It is the script that interacts with
allstarlink.org to make config files and download them. The
script is rather faulty and often does not work resulting in
several questions a week to app_rpt. I think it is more
trouble than it is worth in its present form. I would rather
see people configure and store their config files locally and
there will be a facility for that in the general release.<br>

I have written some howto's with more to come on how to
configure your node. Using those notes and the default files
most should not have any problem configuring their systems
without nodesetup. <br>
