Hi Patrick,
I've played some with the Opus CODEC and it's very impressive. The
biggest problem with perceived "packet loss" in current HamVoIP (and
probably ASL) is actually due to weaknesses at the IAX2 transport layer,
not actual loss, per se.
Opus is definitely on my RADAR!
