Steve,
These messages indicate a communications problem at the USB layer between
the RPi board and a USB audio peripheral. When these errors occur, there
is usually also a very brief audio drop-out from the FOB.
How many audio FOBs do you have attached to this RPi?
Some things to try:
1) Different USB cable.
2) Turn on cpu_turbo. I do this on all my systems and this resolves most
audio issues....In my case, turbo is already enabled (as seen below).
Note that you'll have to reboot the system for this setting to take
effect. BTW, I've never had any issues with enabling cpu_turbo (hundreds
of boards). The side effect is the SoC temperature may be slightly higher,
accompanied by slightly more power use.
