My initial thoughts were co-channel QRM or congestion on your wifi does weird things.

My second thought was a DHCP or IP clash on your network.  Had very weird things happen in the past with two DHCP servers on a LAN, likewise two devices with the same IP, one issued by DHCP and the other with a static/fixed IP in the device.
