Yes, I've got working replacement code now, which pulls data directly from
NOAA/NWS. I'm still finding some rough edges (edge cases) which I'm
resolving. The fly in the ointment is this will work only for reporting
zones in the USA, so users from other countries (like Canada) won't
benefit. It's a start.
I had hoped that the Accuweather issues would simple improve, so far that
hasn't happened.
