In reference to a Feb 2023 post titled Script to disconnect and disable repeater Dave said  I've got some unreleased/prerelease code I've been using for split-site
repeaters that'll probably do what you're wanting. Basically, what this
code does is allow the simpleusb COS or PTT to be forcibly disabled at the
driver level. So, links, etc., are not impacted---everything can stay
linked without any other changes. These parameters can be adjusted "on the 
fly" as needed and are immediately applied when activated.

Follow up with me off list, if you would like to try this out.
