Hello to you ,
I use truncate_logs.sh
and I noticed that my logs are not changing automatically
currently I have. on my supermon2 page
Logs - 1.8M 4% used, 49M remains
and I will use /usr/local/sbin/truncate_logs.sh in menu 9
and everything works fine
[root at NODE1410 ~]# /usr/local/sbin/truncate_logs.sh
LOG - httpd access_log size OK
LOG - Asterisk message log size OK
LOG - httpd error_log size OK
LOG - BTMP_log size adjusted
[root at NODE1410 ~]#
after 5 minutes you can clearly see that the percentage of my logs has decreased to 1%
Logs - 80K 1% used, 50M remains
My question, why can't I do this autorun in /var/spoon/cron/root?
to tell you that I have this in my period
*/5 * * * * /usr/local/sbin/truncate_logs.sh
Is there anything I forgot?
It works fine in manual mode, but automatic with Cron Job!!!, it doesn't want to work?
Thank you for your help
Have a good evening
