[arm-allstar] ARM-allstar Digest, Vol 106, Issue 13

Hi Ken;

A cronjob does not solve the issue because every time the node is
rebooted, the data in volatile memory is immediately wiped. Sure, I
could run a daily cronjob, however, what happens if I reboot the node 5x
that day? The data I want to retain is gone. David's solution is the
best, i've followed his instructions and it works!

If you read my reply to David, I have a script that runs daily from a
cronjob and it trims down the log files to the max size that I specify.
Further, I have modified the backup script to include all of the log
files. I backup about once per week so even if the log files are
trimmed, I can go to backups to see the logs prior to trimming.
