Yep, the AP makes *all* the difference in the world. I use Ubiquiti 
stuff here -- originally a pair of UAP-AC-M, now U6 Pros in the house. I 
use Ethernet wherever I can, but I don't get any glitching or weirdness 
from my WiFi-only nodes here.
