As I mentioned to you privately Dave, setup a cron job for 8:15pm daily to check for the existence of a file somewhere (in /tmp?).

You can use DTMF commands to create and delete the file.

When the cron job runs at 8:15pm, and the file is present, play the announcement and delete the file.

so basically i need a script  something like  net.sh  that will run a macro
at a specified time
the time will be 18:15 that the macro runs when ever the net.sh is commanded
