[arm-allstar] Talk on Allstar With Your iOS Device!

I’m a little confused by "does essentially what DVSwitch does” vs "you log into the ASL site with your ASL credentials”. I am using DVSwitch Mobile to directly connect to an IAX account set specifically for it on my AllStar node. Logging into the ASL site does not enter the picture.

Does this app rely on using the "web-transcieve” portal?
Can it connect directly to an AllStar node without using "web-transcieve”, a la DVSwitch?

Might be a dumb question, I have zero familiarity with the web-transcieve portal thing, if that’s not apparent. :)

Thanks,
Larry

It's probably not too far off, but considering you guys already have DVSwitch Mobile, then maybe not. RepeaterPhone Mobile does essentially what DVSwitch does, and it acts like a Mac running Transceive to Allstar. Yes, you log into the ASL site with your ASL credentials, and when you connect to a node, it appears to others online as if you were a Mac doing it.
