[arm-allstar] iphone name change

I'm running my node on an iphone hotspot.  The name changed from iphone to
iphone(2) to iphone(3).  The  first change was after an update while the
second was when in close proximity to several phones for a week.  Is this
common and if so, can I change it to my call sign or something else.
Apparently, the node looks at the hotspot name and password, not the MAC
address.  Any ideas?  Thanks for your help.  WA2WWK Ron
