Jeesh, if the network is so dang critical, you would think they want the router on ups anyway. Can’t you sneak an extension cord from your APC over to the router?

And have you tried the “total reboot from the COP command list? That usually does it for me. Can’t recall the exact cmd name right now. 

Also, I would lose the APCs and go with a 12 volt battery bank with a few hundred amp hours of capacity for your entire system, especially if it is used for wx reporting. 

Other approach would be to find a local user within about a 10 mile radius and back haul your own internet to the site. Use a Ubiquiti Litebeam or airFiber.

Because of new management, and it's a commercial business, management has signed a contract with COX for support. I have been told I cannot access setup or do anything at the router, my 100baseT connection runs 150 to the radio room. where I have my gear and another switch. . I cannot UDP or open any ports. etc.
