[arm-allstar] Can two Raspi be on the same network?

I am getting back into using Raspi and have a question? Can a Raspi set up with an Allstar node and a separate IRLP Raspi with an IRLP board be on the same network using the same outside IP address and be on two separate local ip addresses from a router?

I know the allstar Raspi can be configured for IRLP. I prefer not to do that because of access codes to other IRLP nodes from the Allstar Raspi. My users are use to the simple IRLP codes to bring up other IRLP nodes. Hence my question.
