Sure. Usually the Control key is a good one for PTT.
I've never noticed IAXRPT keying automatically, so I'm not sure where you
would go to turn that off.
I have an inexpensive USB footswitch mapped to act like a Joystick button,
meaning that's what it sends when I depress the switch. Then in IAXRPT, in
Options > Devices, I have the checkbox that says "joystick PTT" checked.
Now I can key up from anywhere, hands free. For instance, I can stay in
Netlogger while controlling a net, and PTT with my foot.

Subject: [arm-allstar] iaxrpt question
I have my node setup to work with iaxrpt and my windows computer. It works.
Is it normal for it to work with vox properties? Can it be change to pure
ptt?
Thanks,
Rich, WA2ZPX
