I recently wanted to play newsline from my node and broadcast it over any other node connected to me. I was not able to get it working properly but Dave WA2KJC and Doug WA3DSP helped me a ton in getting it up and running. The reason it wouldn't play globally was due to how I had the pi set in rpt.conf. I am using an Arcom controller and used the suggested Repeater/Simplex Node Settings of duplex=0 and had linktolink uncommented and set to yes. Well it would not play news line globally with those settings so I commented out linktolink and set the duplex to 2 and now I get a good half second to second echo but it plays newsline globally as it should. I set it back to the original way I had it set and the echo goes away but newsline wont play globally.
There has to be something I am missing in there to fix this?
I have gone through and tried all kinds of different settings but no luck.
Any suggestions out there?
