I would like to again mention pushover.net. All you need is Internet access and "curl" on the hamvoip node for instant notifications (typically 1 second!)

You pay for the Android/iOS client once ($5) and there's never another charge for unlimited push notifications.

On my node I get notifications of a connect/disconnect, what type of connection (EL, AS, IAX), the node number, the call sign, date and time, and another at bootup via @reboot in crontab.

I will share example scripts if there is any interest.
