The CM108/CM119 isn't the limiting factor. These adapters are already
running at a 48KHz sample rate, roughly flat frequency response from 30Hz
to 18KHz+ and 80dB+ usable dynamic range. Here is one review of a bargain
CM119 fob. This is an "audiophile" review and they call this fob
"marginal." ....For AllStar, we're not trying to re-play a rock concert
through a 5KW sound system! (At least I'm not doing that!!!)

This performance is FAR beyond even high-quality broadcast FM radio.
NOTE that some AllStar-centric audio fobs (like the DMK URI) include
hardware filters that limit the frequency response. However, they won't
impact communications-grade audio, either.
