John,

No, this feature isn't currently available in AllStar.

With a recent update to EchoLink software, a new feature has been
added—“Call CQ”. This is a very nifty feature. More info on the feature
can be found at: https://secure.echolink.org/cq.htm

I really like this feature, because it gives folks who do not have
access to the HF bands (for whatever reason) the experience of working
random stations. This experience is just not the same when done through
a hub or reflector.

I am wondering…does a similar feature currently exist in AllStar? If
not, would this be a difficult feature to implement in AllStar? Without
knowing a lot about the internals of AllStar, I can speculate on how to
do this, but do not know if it would work from a technical perspective.
