OK - I should have mentioned that this system was running fine for 6 months
and just started doing this one day until it overflowed the tmpfs area and
locked the repeater into transmit mode.

It has had that symptom before - I think once it was something to do with
the registration server, although I did not see evidence of that this time.

I do have the log trim function in there just to prevent that sort of
problem, but made a mistake in the path to the messages file, so it did not
get trimmed.
That's fixed now.

I am curious what kind of misconfiguration error could have an effect that
took months before it happens?

Ken,

I suspect these messages are due to a misconfiguration in the rpt.conf,
iax.conf or extensions.conf file.
