After more troubleshooting It appears that this issue is being caused by my experimenting with the Swiss army script to try to get it download the nodelist it wants to work correctly. Therefore it’s no longer involves Hamvoip. Thanks for the help!

Hi David,

If you run the astdb.php script (which downloads the data file) from the
bash prompt, what happens? Does the /var/log/asterisk/astdb.txt file
remain in place, once the command completes? You should see something
like:

[root at RPi4B-dev ~]# astdb.php
astdb.txt: 706095 bytes

[root at RPi4B-dev ~]# wc /var/log/asterisk/astdb.txt
 20398 53672 706095 /var/log/asterisk/astdb.txt

df /var/log
Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
tmpfs 51200 404 50796 1% /var/log

I am using the write_node_callsigns script and noticed that it makes a
call to astdb.txt. Could something maybe be going on there? I’m
learning as I go along but I’m not to the point where I can debug a
bash script yet.

Hi David,

That's odd?? Is you /var/log filesystem full, by any chance??

For example, is the Use% at or near 100% ??

[root at RPi4B-dev ~]# df /var/log
Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
tmpfs 51200 892 50308 2% /var/log
