Assuming the local node to which you have directed it to play is 
connected to other nodes, it will play across all of those connected 
nodes. You can issue rpt playback <Your_Local_Node_Number> 
/path/to/sound/file/without/extension from the Asterisk CLI to test 
this. I use /var/lib/asterisk/sounds/goodbye as an example, because it's 
short and confuses people.

I have a heavily modified version of that script on my bridge, which 
requires manually editing each report and uploading the individual 
parts. More work for me, but sounds a lot better that way. The playback 
functionality is the same, however.
