Chris,
There are some significant limitations with these repeaters. First, the
minimum frequency split is 5MHz (or more), so only the UHF version is
practical for ham use. Second, these units have a reverse split--they RX
on the lower frequency and TX on the higher frequency, backwards from what
is typical in the USA. And, this apparently isn't adjustable. These
repeaters use a VERY low-end notch only duplexer.
IMO, at the $400+ price-point for these repeaters, they're not a bargain.
It's also worth noting that these repeaters are not FCC type accepted for
any class of service in the USA, even though the provided documentation
claims otherwise.
