[arm-allstar] Initial setup question

Hi,
I am very new to Allstar and I believe I have setup my Raspberry PI 4B correctly. I connected an Alinco 435T MkIII to the Raspberry Pi using the RIM-Lite Alinco card from Repeater-Builder. The Alinco is in Simplex mode on low power on 446.50 and I get the periodic announcements from the Raspberry Pi on an HT tuned to the same frequency as well as on the Alinco. I can connect / disconnect to remote nodes using the Asterisk command line: "rpt fun 54265 *73<node>" or "rpt fun 54265 *73<node>".
When I connect to a node I hear all the traffic perfectly clear, both on the Alinco and the HT. When I transmit I do not receive a response. However, I did receive an email from an admin stating: Your node Periodically is locking up a ptt. Your your node is getting interference making it key up? Please use a pl tone on your receive and or Resolve the issue." I think that person blocked me from trying to reconnect to that node.
There isn't an Allstar repeater within radio range of my location so I could listen for what my signal sounds like. I wish there was an Allstar testing location / node such as exists for Skype where you can connect to an Allstar test number/node and it plays back your audio a few seconds later so you could hear what your audio sounds like to adjust it.
I would appreciate any advice on next steps. I am familiar with tcpdump and Wireshark but hoping that is not the path I have to take.
Thanks,
Peter
