[arm-allstar] OpenVPN fails to start on new installation

I’m in the process of turning up a new node. I’ve had success running OpenVPN client on a previous node, but I cannot get it to launch on the new node. 

I.e. 

# pwd
/etc/openvpn
# sh start-openvpn client_yv529021.conf 

…seems to do nothing. No openvpn process is left running:

# ps aux | grep "openvpn"
root      4683  0.0  0.0   2684   560 pts/0    S+   21:26   0:00 grep openvpn
#


Nothing added to any of /var/log/asterisk/messages
Nothing logged at the server end. 

Client config is set set up with:
status /tmp/openvpn-client-status.log
log /tmp/openvpn-client.log

But neither file is created. It seems like openvpn is failing early on.



The NON-working node is a fresh download & updated : RPi2/RPi2-3-4_V1.6-14_Allstar.exe
