I have, or will have, the hardware to connect it as a node radio, and
also to connect to it's serial port. I'm interested in using it, along
with hamlib, to control the VFO and channels of the radio. I'm hoping to
turn it into a frequency agile, or at least channel agile remote base,
controlled by hamlib and driven by DTMF commands via HamVoIP.
According to rigctl -l from hamlib, the Kenwood TH-D700 is radio option 226.
I need to do a lot more reading up on how to use rigctl in such a way
that it can be driven non-interactively , and then ultimately DTMF,
which is why I was wondering if anyone here had used this particular
combination as an agile remote and run into any major issues before I
start studying this stuff.
