I am puzzled then

Mine starts with this info:

[directories]
astetcdir => /etc/asterisk
;astmoddir => /usr/lib/asterisk/modules
astmoddir => /usr/local/hamvoip-asterisk-2020-06-01/lib/asterisk/modules
astvarlibdir => /var/lib/asterisk
astdatadir => /var/lib/asterisk
astagidir => /var/lib/asterisk/agi-bin
astspooldir => /var/spool/asterisk
astrundir => /var/run
astlogdir => /var/log/asterisk

did you put in the 2020 date 4 years ago??
That's the part that got me in trouble.

Ken

Ken,

The "stock" /etc/asterisk/asterisk.conf file found on HamVoIP hasn't changed
in years. The last time it changed was about 08/2016.
