Russell,

Periodically there have been reports of slow echolink node directory 
updates.

Most of the time, this seems due to devices that have just been brought 
on-line and then connections to/from them are attempted. In this scenario, 
the systems are waiting on echolink node-directory updates to propagate 
out.

The 2.0.908 echolink software is the version I would expect to find on all 
PC's these days, since that is the latest release (as far as I know?) and 
is now more than a decade old.

Are your connection problems from AllStar-->>--Echolink or 
Echolink-->>--Allstar ..or either way??
