Hi Greg,

Permanent connection isn't "peranent?"  That's not really been my 
experience, at least with HamVoIP?

As for a cron job that performs reconnects, why not test to see if the 
connection is present before blindly performing connect operations? Then,
the "Remote Already In This Mode" telemetry won't get generated at all.
