Some radio do not like glitches on the PPT line.As an example, Motorola MAXTRAC will not transmit if PTT comes too fast after a last transmission.I have a few repeaters running with two MAXTRAC radios and once in a while the Tx radio was not transmitting until a sufficient quiet period occurs. I have designed a filter that blocks ptt input for some 100-500 ms delay after the end of a transmission.It would have been much simplier to have a software implementation.TXondelay???Similar to the existing RXondelay, trigered also by the end of TX, and applied only if last TX is within delay period.73RogerVE2DBE
