[arm-allstar] Enlarging font size on terminal screen

I would like to enlarge the default font size on my RaspberryPi .  I purchased a small  HD monitor to use  when I need to access directly  with keyboard and a monitor.

Is there’s way to adjust the default font size so that it is more legible on a HD screen?
