[arm-allstar] Tx/Rx Timeout Revisited

Yes very real. Yesterday the SOC tested the complete system, we had over 90 repeater sites and 50+ nodes connected together across the state of Texas for emergency operations. At this time we only had 12 Allstar repeaters controllers in the mix.Being able to control key controller function is a requirement for successful operations. Without it, futher Allstar controller integration can not occur. We had issues with the vpn, but were able to write scripts to turn on and off vpn with loss of internet. Be it wired or wifi with email status updates. Having this control was critical. Allowing control for customization is a good thing. I hope this simplistic change can be encompassed in a future release. Thanks David KG5RDF

Are you just supposing something or has this really happened?*73 Doug**WA3DSP**http://www.crompton.com/hamradio <http://www.crompton.com/hamradio>*On Sun, May 31, 2020 at 1:32 AM "kg5rdf via ARM-allstar" <arm-allstar at hamvoip.org> wrote:> Using Allstar for repeater controllers, I having issues not having down> time after timeout.
